About Men’s Sober Living in Los Angeles, CA

No one should be sleeping on the floor and at New Life Warehouse we will continue to do our best to see that become a reality. This ministry is more than just supplying essentials to those in need, it is about sharing Jesus and giving them hope. Lives are being transformed; not just the families we serve but also every one of us who volunteer.

A Place for Mom is paid by our participating communities, therefore our service is offered at no charge to families. Nutritious meals are one of the most important and valued benefits of senior living. Chefs and meal planners provide residents the right balance of vitamins and minerals – and so much more. Patients are free to live in one of our homes as long as necessary. We understand the importance of allowing them to work on your recovery at their own pace. I quickly transitioned from donor to volunteer as I learned about the mission of helping people start over. An alcoholic himself, Perry had been through a recovery center that emphasized identifying and modifying self-sabotaging behavior. Founded in San Pedro by Perry Petacia, New Beginning Recovery was formed to directly serve young men in recovery. Our educational program is designed to help young men further their education, earn their next achievements and degrees, and learn fundamental life and relationship skills. Our accredited on-campus school offers educational repair, a personalized education, and regular progress reports.

By the age of 14, I turned to drugs and alcohol as a coping mechanism. Battling depression and anxiety, I found myself stuck in a vicious cycle. Sebastian has worked with New Beginning Recovery in a variety of roles, and spent time both directing the houses and focusing on New Beginning Recovery the alumni, as well as working with the clinical team at Clear Recovery Center. Today, I proudly serve as a Case Manager at New Beginning Recovery of Hope and as the Community Outreach Coordinator for Women’s Recovery Resources, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports NLH.
